A total of 466 exhibitors from 36 countries (2022: 340 exhibitors from 32 countries) presented their world premieres, products and innovations across 33,000 square meters in three halls. In total, more than 13,000 visitors from 84 countries (2022: 10,000 visitors from 84 countries) attended this leading international trade fair for the ceramics industry. The turnout from abroad was once again very strong this year.

We have seen the topics here that are driving the industry, from digitalization to zero emissions, decarbonization and resource efficiency as well as new applications for ceramic solutions – at the stands, but also in our conference program.”

ceramitec – “a great event with numerous world firsts”

For Dr. Jürgen Blumm, Managing Director of Netzsch-Gerätebau and Chairman of the ceramitec Advisory Board, “ceramitec 2024 is a great success. Compared to the last event in 2022, there were significantly more visitors and many new contacts made. The exhibiting companies also showcased innovations this year, especially in the areas of automation, sustainability and energy efficiency. All in all, it is a great event with many world premieres and advancements from the exhibitors along with many enthusiastic visitors.” Stephan Eirich, President of Maschinenfabrik Gustav Eirich, stresses that “ceramitec 2024 once again made Munich the world capital of the ceramics industry. Numerous decision-makers and experts were on hand providing deep insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the industry. The result was productive talks highlighting genuine interest in technical solutions and innovations.”

As always, the quality of discussions with the expert audience is outstanding.” Christian Müller, Deputy Managing Director at Dorst Technologies, can only agree: “This year’s highlights were the many collaborative and high-caliber talks with our customers. For us, ceramitec represents both tradition and change.” And Matthias Uhl, Managing Director at Riedhammer, adds: “Quality and customer talks are very important to us, as is generating new ideas. The ceramists ‘family’ knows and appreciates each other very much. As a result, you also have conversations here that you wouldn’t otherwise have. That’s what ceramitec is all about: You walk in and feel at home.”

A delighted Paolo Pedrielli, President and CEO of Tecnofiliere, says: “We had the opportunity to meet potential new customers and refresh our relationships with existing customers. We realized that ceramitec now takes place every two years and we are looking forward to coming back to Munich in 2026.”
