On this page you will find all the information you need as an exhibitor on the topics of logistics and transport.
Our traffic guides will help you get to the exhibition center quickly and safely and find all the information you need on logistics and parking. An individual traffic guide is prepared for each event at the trade fair center. Please read the traffic guide carefully and also pass it on to your forwarding agent, stand construction personnel, drivers and other service companies!
You will find our traffic guide for the set-up and dismantling phases as well as for the duration of the trade fair below as a PDF for downloading in the run-up to the trade fair as well as on the website of the respective event.
Based on the expected traffic volume, a deposit scheme may apply on various days. Entry to the exhibition grounds is then only possible against payment of a deposit and only for a defined duration.
If you do not wish to enter the exhibition grounds by vehicle, we will provide free parking during the deposit period in the set-up and dismantling areas. From there, shuttle buses will drive to the exhibition grounds, in which you can also transport smaller materials (toolboxes, cartons, etc.).
An overview of access and parking regulations can be found in the traffic guide for the respective event.
Where is the deposit collected?
Depending on the size of the event, the amount of money will be collected at a central deposit point or at the open gates. The respective regulations can be found in the traffic guide for the event, and the traffic signs around the exhibition grounds are coordinated accordingly.
How can I pay the deposit?
The deposit can only be paid in cash, so please bring the appropriate amount of money with you. You will find an ATM at the nearby gas station.
Where will the deposit be returned?
The deposit amount will be refunded at the open gates if you leave the site within the deposit period.
How can I tell when I need to leave the premises?
As part of the deposit collection process, you will receive a receipt with the latest departure time printed on it. Please keep this receipt in a safe place, as it is not possible to receive the money back without it.
What if I do not get my deposit back?
If you have exceeded the deposit period, the amount of money will not be refunded at the time of departure. Please note, this decision is made by the electronic deposit system and the gate staff has no influence on it. The deposit receipt received upon entry will then serve as your receipt for the tax office.
What do I do if my exit is delayed through no fault of my own?
If you are unable to leave the venue in time, e.g., because your vehicle has been blocked or has broken down, please contact the traffic guards in the loading yards immediately. They will assist you in solving the problem and document the incident so that you will be refunded the deposit amount even if you leave the premises late.
To increase efficiency and organization in set-up and dismantling, some trade fairs rely on an IT-supported system for logistics processing: FairLog. Please refer to the Traffic Guide to find out whether your trade fair uses FairLog and the date for activating FairLog.
Please note: The FairLog portal is only available at the times specified in the traffic guide. Timeslot booking is not necessary/possible on all other days.
Our local forwarding agents take care of all your logistical needs, including empties handling, temporary storage and the hire of forklift trucks and cranes.
You can send your parcels directly to your stand using a parcel service of your choice.
Your parcel must contain the following information.

Please note that your parcels can only be accepted by you personally. Someone from your company, your employees or partners must sign for the delivery on site.
Messe München is not able to accept goods on your behalf.
If you would like to have something delivered before you are there in person, you can arrange for one of our forwarding agents to store your goods.

We recommend that you do not leave any goods or other items unsecured in the hall or on the open-air site during the set-up and dismantling periods.
Loading and unloading is reserved for fair Munich logistics partners only.
To make it easier to set up and dismantle at events, exhibitors have the option of applying for an exemption from the ban on driving on Sundays, Public holidays and Saturdays during the summer for the transport of exhibition goods by trucks over 7.5 tonnes.
