Actively taking measures as a company to make a positive impact on society and strengthen Bavaria as a business location: that is one of the core ideas of Messe München. With a focused corporate social responsibility (CSR) approach, we take targeted action to protect the environment and the climate, to individually empower and support our employees, and to strengthen the community in the city and the region. We have set ourselves the long-term goal of further expanding our sustainable corporate governance, endeavoring to fulfill our social responsibility also in the future.
Since 2016, Messe München has been pooling its CSR activities to reinforce sustainable corporate governance in a dedicated corporate function, thus underscoring its high standards of social and corporate responsibility. The fact that the topic of CSR is anchored directly at the board level demonstrates how seriously we are taking this issue.
Messe München supports the fairpflichtet sustainability code. This means we assume corporate responsibility for sustainability in the organization and implementation of our events by following the ten sustainability guidelines set out in the sustainability codex for the events industry sector.
