December 13th, 2018 will go down as an important date in the history of Messe München. Because it is on this day, through the ceremonial opening of the new Halls C5 and C6 as well as the CCN – Conference Center North Messe München, that the exhibition center in Riem is completed according to the original plans.
The total number of halls available at the exhibition venue has thus increased to 18, featuring 200,000 m² of in-door exhibition space. Added to that are 414,000 m² of outdoor space.
After two years of construction time, the two halls were completed on time and inaugurated with the opening of the IFAT show in May 2018, both fully occupied. Embedded in the spacious open-air area, the CCN – Conference Center North Messe München will offer ideal conditions for a wide variety of trade fairs, conferences and events.
With the two new halls and the CCN – Conference Center North Messe München, we are strengthening our position in the international market and can further develop our trade fair concepts. BAU 2019, scheduled to take place in January as the first trade show in 2019, will also occupy all 18 halls. And bauma 2019 will be the largest bauma ever, covering a total of 614,000 m², an increase of 9,000 m².
