At our location in Munich we host trade fairs, conferences and high-quality events. Messe München is very successful in its domestic market in Munich as well as in other countries. It is active in all important growth markets: China, India, Brazil and Turkey. With its trade fairs and congresses, it facilitates dialog across borders and connects people with different views for peaceful exchange.
Overall, Messe München, with its network of associated companies and foreign agencies, is present in more than 130 countries.

Messe München’s world's leading trade fairs
In addition to our renowned world-leading trade fairs, analytica, automatica, BAU, bauma, ceramitec, electronica, IFAT, Laser World of Photonics, LOPEC, productronica, transport logistic, World of Quantum, drinktec und ISPO Messe München organizes numerous events of its own not only at home but also abroad, both for trade visitors and for the general public. Successful trade fairs for the general public in Germany include, for example, the annual travel and leisure trade fair f.re.e.
Our many years of experience in trade fair and conference business, as well as around 70 offices worldwide and a network of associated companies in Europe, Asia and South America make us—Messe München—a successful global player in the event sector.
Through collaboration, Messe München supports innovative topics, thus expanding its network. Our portfolio is supplemented by IAA MOBILITY, which is organized together with the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), and our participation in drinktec, ISPO and Bits&Pretzels.

Our trade fairs abroad
With its more than 60 trade shows abroad, Messe München provides a stage for professional exchange at an international level and promotes networking beyond national borders. With its holdings in Europe, China, India and Brazil, among others, and its network of affiliated companies and foreign representatives, Messe München is active in more than 100 countries. This enables us to stage numerous trade shows abroad and to expand our core areas—capital goods, technology and consumer. goods—beyond Bavaria's national borders.
China is a focus country for Messe München. We are present here with three affiliated companies at seven locations with 21 events. The most important trade fairs there include bauma China, electronica China, productronica China, IE expo, BAU China and ISPO Beijing and Shanghai.
Our subsidiary Messe München India—founded in 2007—has rapidly grown into a leading organizer of trade fairs in India. Among the most successful trade fairs organized directly on site are IFAT India, electronica/productonica India and Indian Ceramics.
In 2022, our subsidiary MMI Asia (with location in Singapore) organized analytica Vietnam, one of the most important trade fairs in the field of analytics, laboratory technology and biotechnology in Vietnam, and ASEAN Ceramics (Vietnam) itself for the first time.

At the Munich location, Messe München holds conferences and conventions, and offers a conference venue with its ICM – International Congress Center Messe München; for smaller conferences and trade fairs, the MOC – Event Center Messe München is the ideal location. Messe München enables conferences and lecture series—also to accompany or supplement a trade fair—that have their finger on the pulse and are characterized by their topicality and leading expertise. Modern conference rooms, flexible room solutions and spacious conference rooms offer the ideal requirements for conferences and conventions at national and international level.
