As one of the world’s largest trade fair companies, with 14 world leading trade fairs and in total around 90 trade fairs for capital goods, consumer goods and new technologies, Messe München sets new standards for innovation, flexibility and networking people.

Messe München is a host of high-quality trade fairs, congresses, and events, and is active worldwide. In addition to our headquater in Munich, we have a presence in China, India, Brazil, South Africa, Turkey, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Thailand, the USA, and Saudi Arabia, covering all major growth markets. With our formats, we promote international dialogue, connect people across borders, and support open, peaceful exchange.Around 150 events per year attract over 50,000 exhibitors and around three million visitors in Germany and abroad. This makes Messe München an important economic engine that generates billions in purchasing power.

Company profilMesse München is one of the world's leading trade fair organizers with a wide portfolio of trade fairs, congresses, and events. Among them are 14 world-leading trade fairs, which are the largest global industry events in their respective fields: analytica, automatica, BAU, bauma, ceramitec, electronica, IFAT, Laser World of Photonics, LOPEC, productronica, transport logistic, World of Quantum, drinktec and ISPO.
Through strategic partnerships, Messe München strengthens its innovation power and continuously expands its network. These include, among others, the IAA MOBILITY, which is realized in collaboration with the Association of the German Automotive Industry (VDA), as well as our participation in leading events such as the drinktec, ISPO, and Bits & Pretzels world trade fairs. One of the successful consumer shows in Germany is the annual travel and leisure show f.re.e.
Our trade fairs abroad
With over 60 trade fairs worldwide, Messe München provides a platform for international exchange and promotes networking across borders. This allows us to successfully develop our core areas — investment goods, technology, and consumer goods — far beyond Bavaria.
A particular focus is placed on Asia, especially China, where Messe München is active at several locations and holds significant events such as bauma China, BAU China, electronica China, IE expo, ISPO Beijing, and ISPO Shanghai as well as productronica China
The Messe München India, founded in 2007, has also been very successful in India. It has become a leading organizer of trade fairs. Its most important formats include IFAT India, electronica, productronica India, and Indian Ceramics.
Since 2022, MMI Asia, based in Singapore, has expanded our Asian portfolio. MMI Asia is responsible for the analytica Vietnam, one of the most important trade fairs for analytical technology, laboratory technology, and biotechnology, as well as the ASEAN Ceramics in Vietnam.
Messe München continues to expand its international activities in Saudi Arabia since 2025. Through an increasing commitment to the kingdom, the company is strengthening its position in one of the world's most dynamic economic regions. Two flagship events are particularly important: the bauma Saudi Arabia, and the IFAT Saudi Arabia.
The Messe München is also expanding its presence in the USA. With the acquisition of the full-service event service provider Tradeshow Logic in 2026, it strengthens its activities in the North American market. The most important formats include analytica USA and transport logistic USA.
